February 10 - How to Integrate Ayurveda into Your Everyday Life
Learn about the world’s most sophisticated and powerful mind-body health systems. Ayurveda is an alternative natural Indian medical science dating back 5,000 years. This FREE class will be taught by new Guild member Alexis Crawford.
February 20 - Beer Tasting at Medusa Brewing Company in Hudson, MA
Our beer-centric LET’S DISH, taking place at Medusa Brewing Company Tuesday, February 20. Bring your hot or cold dish, either made with beer, or made to pair with beer, at 7 PM. Hate beer? Not to worry; Medusa serves cold brew coffee and sodas in the taproom, too.
March 9 - Workshop Demo - Kitchen PREP
a two-hour class on the culture, spices and ingredients of Lebanese cooking, followed by an in-kitchen lunch, will be held at the Cambridge home of Claude Chahine Shehadi
March 13 - Open Table: Got Some Free Time and Want to Give Back?
The Guild returns to Open Table a meal program/pantry at 33 Main Street, Maynard www.opentable.org
Volunteers are needed for two hour shifts. Cooks can come help out in the kitchen at either 3:15 PM or 5:15 PM. Servers and a cleanup crew are needed at 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM. Feel good about helping our neighbors to eat well. Closed-toe shoes, a hat, and the ability to work quickly on your feet is required. No cost. Ample parking.
March 14 - Supper Club: French Food in Boston - Then and Now
A Dinner and Talk with Chef Jacky Robert, MA Mason, 272 Cambridge Street, Beacon Hill, Boston
One of the most renowned and respected chefs in the city, Jacky opened Boston’s very first French restaurant, with his Uncle Lucien. For more than 30 years, Maison Robert was considered the premiere dining room for romance, deal-making, and white tablecloth pomp. Today, in a cozy Beacon Hill setting, Jacky and his partner (Ms.) Sam Sosnitsky are commited to providing classic French fare at wallet-friendly prices. No one is more qualified to speak on the topic of how French cuisine has evolved here in Beantown. Don’t miss this delicious and enlightening evening.

This cozy, chef-owned bistro in Brookline Village has offered us a scrumptious, 4-course prix fixe dinner.

May 2018 - The Black Trumpet
A Saturday field trip to Portsmouth, NH. A full day of food and friendship as we trek around this historic seaside city for an afternoon, ending at the much-heralded Black Trumpet Bistro for an early, prix fixe dinner made especially for us by Evan Mallet, 4-time James Beard Award nominee for Best Chef:Northeast.

June 8 - Classic Cocktails
Join us for a sampling of Classic Cocktails, a learning adventure at the Lincoln, MA home of member Florence Beaudry. Bring hors’douevres to enjoy on her tree-top deck in Lincoln, and we’ll bring the martinis (and Manhattans and Daiquiris).
June 22-24 - Weekend in Stockbridge
We’re working on a trip that’ll introduce you to the culinary and cultural highlights of the southern Berkshires. Accommodations at the home of member Lisa Jacobs, just up the street from The Red Lion Inn. Arrive Friday and enjoy three days and two nights; or arrive Saturday for two days and one night. Farmer’s market, backyard BBQ, your choice of nearby attractions to visit.
